Branching Out: Champaign, IL

Another week has passed by once again and so it was time for another adventure.  This time Wolfgang and I headed to Champaign, about 50 miles away from Bloomington.  We left at morning nap time and when we arrived into town Wolfie was wide-eyed, bushy tailed, and ready to thrift!  This trip I was on a mission to find a couple key peices: vintage kitchen play set, new kitchen chairs, little dresses for my shop, and a play table. I was able to score a lil' kitchen thing for Wolfie and little dresses, but the rest was left for other adventures. This doesn't mean I left Champaign empty handed; Au Contraire, twenty dollars goes along way at the thrifts in that town.

A play kitchen hutch for Wolfie, more later on how I am tweaking it up!

Fantastic kitsch lamp, only $5.99!

Then on the way home...
Grilled cheese!!!

XOXO,
Deb
